2015 Blue Plum Festival
The Blue Plum Festival was originally organized by the Friends of Olde Downtowne in 1999. It’s beginnings as a street fair has grown considerably over the years. This year, an estimated 80,000 folks will converge on downtown Johnson City over the course of 3 days to enjoy music, arts, food and so much fun!
Historic Downtown is the place to be the First Friday of every month! East Main Street is closed from 5-9 pm, however each venue has their own times and will be opened/closed accordingly. Bring your friends and family to this free event and explore. More than two dozen locations — including art galleries, retail shops, museums, co-working spaces, restaurants and bars, coffee shops and more — participate in this event, which every month offers something new and surprising.
